The role as Area Sales Manager will be responsible for all business relationships and account management within the defined territory in driving long term, substantial growth for my client.

Client Details

My client are a leading Food Service business looking to add to their team across the East of England, with continued growth expansion into the long term.


The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for:
  • Retention and development of an existing customer base within Food Service
  • Delivering first class customer service and building strong relationships
  • Ability to develop new business across the East of England region
  • Develop innovative ideas to add to menus and your client's service offering
  • Representing the company in a professional manner keeping in line with the business strategy
  • Give structured feedback to marketing and the Field Sales Manager in order to improve the service to customers
  • Act as a lead point of contact for your customers with all queries
  • Establish and grow opportunities across your territory and co-operate with the sales team to ensure profitable growth


The successful Area Sales Manager will have the following experience;
  • Experience within FMCG & Field Based Sales
  • Food Sales experience and affinity to this sector
  • Possess strong relationship building skills
  • Have good communications skills and ability to liaise at all levels, both within the company and with external organisations
  • Based on-patch across the East of England
  • Have experience of successfully working from within a sales team with marketing, commercial and operational teams
  • Be skilled in the use of reporting and communications tools - Excel, PowerPoint etc
  • Hold a full driving licence
