Our client is offering an experienced Trading Manager the opportunity to join a growing organisation and become a part of this companies continuous expansion. This is one of Northern Ireland's leading FMCG organisations who have a definitive market presence from both their Retail and Wholesale brands.

Your new role
As the companies Trading Manager you will report into the Category Manager and will be responsible for the development and implementation of an effective range strategy and consumer insight that supports the delivery of their brands. You will offer your expertise and experience through the execution of cross functional cooperation; setting retail and wholesale prices, negotiating total cost of goods, retail and wholesale margin achievement, Income achievement and Own Brand participation. This will be delivered through engaging with customers and suppliers and leading cross functional project teams incorporating, merchandising, product development, marketing, sales, HR, store development and finance.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate; a proven track record of delivering commercial results through extensive negotiation experience; operational management at a cross functional business level; data analysis, interpretation and systematic problem solving; strong numeracy skills and working knowledge of excel spreadsheets and a degree qualification in a business related discipline.
