Competitve Salary and excellent package
Do you find structural design a doddle? Are you a guru when it comes to print techniques? Do you save hundreds of thousands of pounds on packaging spend?
A rapidly growing FMCG manufacturer has become very aware that it’s not making the most of its packaging spend, and is now on the search for a Packaging Technologist who will make the most out of their materials. As a fledging business in the food sector, they have been growing exponentially and show no signs of slowing down. They’ve achieved this by getting their unique range of products into most of the major retailers, now they are expanding their Technical/NPD team.
You will be responsible for all packaging development within the business. Not only will you be charged with creating innovative packaging solutions to make the products stand out, but you will also identify new technologies that will reduce the packaging spend. Despite being an autonomous role, you will interact with nearly every department of the business. You’ll work with marketing, production, technical and NPD teams. In addition, you will be the voice to packaging suppliers (all UK based), building and maintaining relationships with packaging suppliers.
This is for a food manufacturer; however, all packaging experience is welcomed from wider FMCG. The main prerequisite is that you have an appreciation for a wide range of materials, and preferably some form of related degree or diploma. A passion for innovation is also key, this is a company that has got to where they are through innovation, and they need a packaging department that reflects that. We would also like to hear from people who are just beginning thier packaging career, with a Diploma in Pakcaging, or a relevant Degree.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business, and take control of a packaging function.
Whilst we would like to respond to all our on-line applicants, regrettably we are unable to do so due to the high volumes we receive.
