The Organisation
You will be joining a sizable UK office, with an excellent support network and a high level of Supply Chain expertise. The company has consistently won awards for both product and service, and has built a reputation of excellence. During their years of growth, the business has retained its core values and staff.
The Role
Working collaboratively with commercial and operations teams, you will use historical data and market insights to build and maintain accurate product forecasts, helping to mitigate risk and ensure consistent product supply.
Tracking promotional activity through all distribution channels, you will plan and monitor sales forecasts. Your work will help to protect product margins and ensure target levels for profitability.
You will be require to regularly report your findings and forecasts, both formally and informally, back to the commercial teams.
The Person
You will be a confident supply chain professional, with previous experience of working with fast moving goods. Professionals with a background in food and drink will be preferred.
You will be able to demonstrate strong Excel skills and an awareness of the key responsibilities involved in Demand Planning. You will have strong commercial awareness, and will be at ease with presenting as part of your work.
