International Account Manager
Due to the success of the business to date, we want a National Account Executive or Regional Account Manager, looking for this first foray into International Accounts working with retail customers across Europe Middle East and Australasia.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will help develop the business plan and sales strategy. You will then be responsible for the delivery of this plan. Your major KPI will be to grow sales by developing relationships cross functionally, managing the promotional spend and developing retailer category plans ensuring they integrate with company and sector strategy. You will, on an annual, average take 10 trips abroad - circa 40 working days over a year.
Ideal candidates will have an FMCG background that has provided them with classical sales training and an understanding of the core needs of modern account management. You will have managed an account that has involved developing joint business plans. An ability to manage complex negotiations backed up with a grasp of category management is essential. You will be an action orientated, self-starting and passionate individual with a proven ability to unlock accounts and make things happen.
Languages skills are not essential although German, French or Spanish would be beneficial.
You will have a degree in Business, Marketing or European Languages or a career that demonstrates real success.
