Sales Account Manager – a fantastic opportunity to join a leading innovative contract manufacturing partner driving product design, development and manufacture of OTC/Pharma licensed brand products.
Joining a well-established team, you will be to play a key role in managing a portfolio of customer accounts with a current value of c£9M. Delighting customer stakeholders in every area of the business relationship. Along with servicing existing product needs, you will need to apply a pro-active approach to developing each account further and maximising on opportunities to develop further and new business. Improving turnover and profitability through promotions, range extensions and NPD. Analysis of sales performance and trends; providing forecasts, stock commitments & liability as well as prices and margin maintenance. The ability to foster and maintain effective relationships, not only customer side but also with key colleagues ensuring timescales are met and difficulties overcome. You will be a natural problem solver who relishes making things happen and keeps a clear head under pressure!
Regular travel is required with the role being partially based at head office in Hertfordshire (2-3 days per week). The ability to manage our time effectively is paramount. Creativity and confidence to put your ideas forward to drive continued product innovation balanced with commercial bias to ensure effective costing and profitable returns. Your strength in character will shine through as you will be interacting across internal teams and presenting to customer buying teams too.
Experience in a similar role is essential, ideally within Pharma but Toiletries, Beauty, Cosmetics sector is also very much of interest. Knowledge of the NPD process and project management is also essential. Our ideal person will come from a contract manufacturing background and be looking for a new challenge and potential career development in the future.
