National Account Manager - Premium Retailer
We are looking for an ambitious National Account Manager to join a leading fresh meat business based in North Yorkshire. Our client has an enviable reputation within the sector for their focus on quality and innovation and enjoys a true long term partnership with a premium retailer. Given current growth and capex investment, the business now requires an excellent National Account Manager to lead their most important category.
Reporting to the Commercial Controller, the role will lead the day to day management and development of the premium account ensuring that business and customer objectives are hit through developing close and effective working relationships within the customer head office and supply chain. The position will take responsibility for the account P&L and work closely with NPD, factory and category colleagues to propose and execute a business plan which puts innovation at the heart of its growth plan.
To apply for this role candidates must have at least 3 years’ experience at National Account Executive level within the fresh food industry with an established track record of account growth through innovation with the major supermarkets. Candidates will demonstrate a strong understanding of category management, a passion for commercial success that will challenge the status quo internally but above all build strong mutually beneficial relationships with customers.
