Senior Category & Shopper Insight Manager - Sainsbury's
An exciting opportunity to join the team of a highly regarded, branded UK food business as a Senior Category & Shopper Insight Manager.
The business operates within the impulse and snacking categories and it's key brands occupy the number one or number two spots in their respective sub-categories.
The Senior Category & Shopper Insight Manager role has come up due to expansion of the category team and they are looking for someone to develop and drive a strong category partnership with Sainsbury's.
Within the role you will develop the category vision and be responsible for implementing the strategy within Sainsbury's, based on market research and competitor knowledge. You will also ensure you understand the needs of the customer and have a high level of buy in from the buying teams within the retailer.
You will own the relationship with Sainsbury's and will be responsible for deeper shopper insight accross all customers delivered to the wider business. Working closely with the Category Controller and the National Accounts team you will ensure that the strategy for your accounts is in line with the JBPs for the retailer and the overall grocery strategy.
To apply for the Senior Category & Shopper Insight Manager, you will display the following:
- Excellent understanding of category management within grocery
- Experience of dealing with top 4 grocers
- Good understanding of the UK grcoery market with particular emphasis on shopper insights
- Graduate calibre with a good knowledge of Kantar, Nielsen, dunnhumby, etc.
