My client is a very well know fashion led supplier and manufacture of high end baby based internationally. Based from home they have managed to establish a very stable competitive product supplying on a national and international Level. Due to further expansion of the brand and continuous growth of the business, the need has now arisen for them to employ a Country Manager based in France.


Reporting into the Commercial Director you will be a key member of the sales team as the Country Manager for France. Your role will be to look after the independent retailers where my client has strong and loyal relationships already established.

You will be expected to grow existing accounts to ensure all opportunities are maximised. You will also develop accounts and drive new business in areas that have not been fully utilised. You will prepare monthly forecasts and sales budgets and work closely with the rest of the sales team, sharing best practice, current trends and ways to develop accounts and setting an example for all to follow.

You will be responsible for managing your own diary and will spend the time required to meet clients and understand their needs. This will involve travel across France 3 to 4 days per week meeting customers, so you will need to be highly motivated and committed to the role, especially in the first few months when meeting clients for the first time. When not visiting clients you will be home based with full autonomy.

The person:

You will be an experienced sales professional from with a Non-Food FMCG background. You will have a minimum of 4 years' experience within these sectors and you will understand the complexities of working within each of the sales channels described above. You will have lots of ideas how to build accounts and deliver joint business plans. You will be a strong character, with leadership skills, honesty and integrity and able to integrate into an existing sales team.
