My Borehamwood based retail client are looking for an Account Manager to join their growing, dynamic and exciting business. Partnering with some brilliant FMCG partners, this role will give the successful candidate exposure to working with the biggest FMCG businesses in the world.

My client is a market leading global premium promotions agency, who have been creating successful promotions for over 30 years for some of the worlds largest international companies. They are a multi national organisation servicing clients in over 32 counties with their UK head office based in Borehamwood Hertfordshire. A rapidly expanding agency who are looking to take on an Account Manager / assistant buyer.

Description

  • To take an enquiry from a member of the sales team
  • To brief the buying team in a clear and succinct way to enable them to approach suppliers and manufacturers with a view to obtaining pricing
  • To build costings with assistance from the Operations Team as and when required
  • To provide finalised quotes to the sales team, (where practical in a format suitable for immediate forwarding to the client)
  • To send pricing to the client as the relationship with the client requires or permits.
  • To brief and work with local/European suppliers in line with guidance from the European Supplier Manager.
  • For development items, to work with the buying team/Supplier on the development of the product, liaising with either sales or the client directly (as appropriate), and completing any necessary tracking documents as per client process




  • Profile

    The Successful Account Manager / Assistant Buyer will
    • Be from a buying background with an interest in project management
    • Have Strong organisational and analytical skills to work within a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
    • Have a great ability to working under pressure and multi-task multiple projects
    • Be a confident communicator and able to liaise and negotiate at all levels internally and eventually externally
    • Be able to commute to Borehamwood


    Job Offer

    £24,000 - £26,000 Basic Salary + Package
