THE ROLE: As an Area Sales Manager, your primary focus will be on winning new business within the SME sector. However, a small but important part of the role will also see you targeting large FM companies. In addition to new business generation, around 25% of your time will be spent managing existing accounts.

THE PERSON: To succeed in this role, you will be an excellent networker, with a consultative style and approachable demeanour. It doesn't matter what products or services you have sold previously, but it is vital that you can demonstrate a structured approach to sales and excellent negotiating techniques.
