Sales Controller Food Service
Our client is a highly respected food service provider supplying quality food products to a wide number of customers across the UK. They have developed an impressive NPD pipeline, they have strengthened their sales team and are now looking for someone to join, lead the team and develop their business.
Reporting in to the Commercial Director as Sales Controller you will be tasked with managing the team to drive revenues by delivering an exceptional service to existing customers whilst actively pursuing a business development strategy to further expand the business. There are many new opportunities out there for them, they have set out a new strategy and they are hungry for growth - the products they supply are exceptional and with some clear strategy and focus the opportunities for growth are considerable.
Who we are looking for?
We need someone who has 'a little black book of customers' ranging from food wholesalers, food service businesses as well as pub and restaurant chains and many others! We need someone who has managed teams and is comfortable both leading from the front as well as coaching and mentoring to achieve the best.
Perhaps you have been running a sales team already and want the chance to run something larger, or maybe you are in an existing food service sales role and feel that you are ready to take the next step and want the chance to lead a sales team; this is however, a great opportunity to really get involved in a very fast moving and dynamic sector with a business that is prepared to reward significantly for over achievement.
