Our client are a manufacturer of high-end food ingredients supplying foodservice, QSR, b2b and retail on a global scale. We are currently representing our client with the search and selection process for a Head of Business Development within the foodservice channel within the UK and European markets.

The Role

As Head of Business Development you will be responsible for the development and implementation of a business development strategy focusing within the foodservice channel; focusing within QSRs and End Users. The aim of the role will be to seeking new business opportunities through market analysis and establish high level relationships with potential clients in order to achieve long term sustainable business.

You will be working with new clients; providing in-depth product knowledge and working with the NPD teams in order to provide product solutions to challenges customers may face. This will be a highly innovative position where you will be working with development chefs at head-office level, developing ingredients products to meet their needs and requirements.

You will be supporting the Commercial Director with the wider business strategy across foodservice within the UK and European markets and contributing to the overall vision.

The Candidate

  • To be considered for this role our client have highlighted that it is essential to have a Bachelor’s Degree within Sales, Marketing, Business Studies or a related field.
  • The successful candidate will have a proven background in developing new business nationwide, within the foodservice industry.
  • You should have excellent communication and IT skills.
  • You should be a strong relationship builder with the ability to influence people at all levels and interact comfortably with different cultures.
