Working directly with the Head of Sales the National Account Manager- Tableware will be responsible for managing and developing independent and group accounts to achieve assigned sales targets, as well as taking the initiative to identify new growth opportunities.

Within the role, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Devising a business plan with retailers in to grow accounts and identify penetration objectives for an array of products.
  • Maintaining pricing strategies across retailers
  • Maintaining close contact with internal teams and key contact points within the accounts.
  • Visiting accounts and acting as an ambassador for the organisation to maximise awareness of the products
  • Gaining new listings within retailers.
  • Seeking opportunities to promote the products and carry out such training as may help them sell more products
  • To analyse sales data and identify potential growth opportunities
  • Organising promotional activity to boost sales levels in conjunction with the Purchasing and Marketing teams of customers.
  • Providing monthly reviews to identify margin progress and ascertain key focus areas for the future


The Successful candidate will have experience in working within tableware/home-ware through the independent channel with:
  • Prior experience in managing national accounts
  • Proven experience in new business development and growing market share
  • First Class communication and negotiation skills
  • A strong commercial acumen
  • Flexibility to visit sites nationwide
  • A strong passion for the industry as a whole
