National Account Executive - Grocery - Health Food

My client is an award winning convenience food manufacturer who have developed a product range based on providing consumers with tasty and healthy alternatives. These delicious treats have received wide publicity in the UK leading to a number of Great Taste awards. The company is a great ambassador for healthy living and this is disseminated through the culture of the organisation. Due to excellent growth in the convenience sector the business are looking to expand and bring on a National Account Executive to support their sales team.
Reporting into the Senior National Account Manager your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Assist NAM and SNAM on existing retail accounts (Ocado, Tesco, Morrisons)
- Manage your own portfolio of independents with the view of managing retail accounts through progression
- Act autonomously to win new business within the independents channel through generating your own leads
- Increase volume of products in existing accounts
For this role you will need to have a high degree of entrepreneurial flair with the ability to effectively work both in a team and independently. A passion for healthy living is a must and to be successful in this role you will need to have a belief and passion for the products you are selling. You will ideally be a second jobber with 1-3 years FMCG experience. A degree is essential.
