Key Account Manager – Beverage Ingredients

This is a rapidly expanding natural ingredients business which offer innovative solutions to the global food and beverage industries. There is currently an opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager to join their UK team and take on the responsibility of some of their largest accounts.

This role will be involved with increasing NPD within these accounts across a variety of products including colours, flavours and compounds, from concept through to execution.

The Role:

  • Responsible for 3 large beverage accounts throughout the UK & Ireland with a turnover of approx £15million.
  • To maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders within clients businesses.
  • Detailed monthly/quarterly sales forecasting and reporting.
  • Deal with financial processes and concepts including pricing and margins.
  • High level negotiation.
  • Detailed brief taking, internal NPD/Applications management and customer presentations.

The Candidate:

  • You will be an experienced Account Manager having worked on large accounts previously with full P&L responsibility.
  • You will have a strong technical understanding of Food Science & Nutrition and NPD, ideally educated to degree level.
  • Experience selling into the food and beverage industry would be essential for this role.
