National Account Manager

Salary: 40,000- 55,000 + car allowance + bonus (10-15%)

Location: North Yorkshire (office based)

We are currently looking for a National Account Manager to join this rapidly growing, family owned business in North Yorkshire! Their products (both own label and branded) can be found in all major UK supermarkets and are quickly becoming house hold names. With a turnover of over 90m, there are plans in place to continue their rapid growth to 150m by 2022!

As a National Account Manager you will be responsible for around 15m of accounts with full P&L responsibility, reporting directly into the Sales Director. This will come with all the usual responsibilities of an account manager position from managing promotional activities to negotiating JBPs to developing the day to day customer relationships. This is a company that is always focused on providing the best products for their customers and as such you will work closely with both NPD and marketing teams.

The successful candidate will currently be working for an FMCG company managing one of the top multiples with full P&L responsibility. In depth knowledge of these accounts is key, you will be given a high level of autonomy in the role and as such be expected to hit the ground running with your accounts. Experience working with a mix of branded and own label products would be preferred but is not essential.

You will be rewarded with a highly competitive basic salary and a great package including a company car, bonus scheme and highly competitive pension. As with any company that has grown at this rate there will be excellent opportunities for career progression as your role develops.
