Your new company
A leading entertainment company who prides itself on innovation and providing the best quality products for its customers, is looking for an experienced Buyer and Category Manager to join an enthusiastic and customer focused team. With a state of the art head office based in the North West of England you will join the team in playing a unique part in the success of the business.

Your new role
With the customer in mind you'll ensure that the retail strategy is delivered by the team. You will play a crucial role in managing your Supply base and develop joint business plans with suppliers. You'll be innovative in terms of growing sales and margin and developing category product ranges. Whilst managing supplier relationships, you'll also provide support to cross functional teams in the business. You'll lead the annual retail customer plan, drive performance and ensure all line manager responsibilities are met.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this exciting and challenging vacancy, you will be a Buyer and Category Manager, with extensive experience in a multi-site environment, preferably in retail / hospitality sectors. With a proven track record in New Product Development / Innovation (NPD / NPI) and your strong commercial awareness, you'll have a can-do attitude and thrive in a fast paced environment. You'll have the ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team. With your analytical mind you'll have knowledge of POS, Marketing and the customer journey.

What you'll get in return
You'll be entitled to a competitive basic salary of up to £55,000 dependant on experience, as well as a holiday allowance that increases with service, 10% bonus, healthcare, contributory pension and a host of other great benefits including significant discount at a number of leisure facilities throughout the UK.
