The role as Key Account Manager will be responsible to maintain, grow & obtain both new & current business opportunities within the Food Service channel across the East Midlands.

Description
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for:
- Retention and development of an existing customer base
- Delivering first class customer service and building strong relationships
- Ability to develop new business across the East Midlands region
- Develop innovative ideas to add to menus and your client's service offering
- Representing the company in a professional manner keeping in line with the business strategy
- Develop an in depth understanding of customer needs
- Give structured feedback to marketing and the Field Sales Manager in order to improve the service to customers
- Act as a lead point of contact for your customers with all queries
- Establish and grow opportunities across your territory and co-operate with the sales team to ensure profitable growth
Profile
The successful Key Account Manager will have the following experience;
- Experience within FMCG & Field Based Sales
- Food Sales experience and affinity to this sector
- Possess strong relationship building skills
- Have good communications skills and ability to liaise at all levels, both within the company and with external organisations
- Have a proven track record in account management
- Have experience of successfully working from within a sales team with marketing, commercial and operational teams
- Be skilled in the use of reporting and communications tools - Excel, PowerPoint etc
- Hold a full driving licence
Job Offer
£28,000 - £32,000 (dependant on experience)
