The Company

An ambitious and well-respected manufacturer of toys and games that has been established for over 25 years is now looking to add to their team a driven and passionate Publishing and Print Manager. Since their incorporation this company quickly became one of the few businesses in their sector to export to over 60 countries worldwide and translate their products into over 30 languages. The fantastic in-house design team invent, design, produce and distribute all of their products which are aimed at providing hours of fun for family and friends.  The business has seen 20% growth YOY for the past 4 years and they hold a strong belief that this can continue. Due to growth, they are now looking to recruit a Publishing and Print Manager to assist with planning and production of all new and existing products. 

The Role

As Publishing and Print Manager you will be responsible for the planning and production of all new and existing products from NPD sign off to stock into warehouse. You will ensure that all projects are completed on time and on budget, you will place purchase orders and ensure that the best prices are obtained without compromising on quality or timescales. You will also be responsible for stock management and safety and testing.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working with product development teams so assign projects and monitor deadlines
  • Ensure shipment dates are met for crucial shipping windows
  • Ensure sales team are up to date on all changes to products and their development
  • Manage all production for brand guidelines, colour testing and quality standards
  • Ensure the best prices are obtained from suppliers without compromising on quality or timescales
  • Manage stock levels to ensure that key lines are never out of stock
  • Ensure all products meet the latest safety testing standards before stock is despatched
