The Company

An ambitious and well-respected manufacturer of toys and games that has been established for over 25 years is now looking to add to their team a driven and passionate Studio Manager. Since their incorporation this company quickly became one of the few businesses in their sector to export to over 60 countries worldwide and translate their products into over 30 languages. The fantastic in-house design team invent, design, produce and distribute all of their products which are aimed at providing hours of fun for family and friends.  The business has seen 20% growth YOY for the past 4 years and they hold a strong belief that this can continue. Due to growth, they are now looking to recruit a Studio Manager to help to produce inspiring visual concepts that captivate their customers.

The Role

As Studio Manager, your main responsibility will be to ensure all projects are organised and completed in a timely manner, providing the best possible design outcomes. These visual concepts will inform, inspire and captivate customers on existing and new products. You will be responsible for organising a creative team and ensuring work allocated is best suited to each individuals skill set. You will also work with international markets, having insight into what works best for each region.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Producing new, creative ideas and concepts and developing interactive designs
  • Working with a mix of graphic projects including packaging, catalogues, promotional material and web graphics and image retouching
  • Presenting new ideas to colleagues
  • Working with international markets to understand and cater to their requirements
  • Organising projects from start to finish
  • Managing proposals from typesetting to design and production
  • Managing and organising studio, freelancers and all projects
