Our client is a leading chemical company with a large presence in the UK as well as Europe, they work closely with a variety of different industries such as pharmaceutical, veterinary and healthcare.

The company are now looking to recruit an Account Manager in the South of England. The suitable candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing the client relationship and sales at various customer sites. Reporting to the Sales Director you will be responsible for achieving new sales growth and will need to work with current customers to meet desired sales and service needs. You will develop and execute territory and specific account sales plan to grow existing accounts and close new accounts. 

You will have the ability to prioritise and work within tight deadlines, effectively support multiple teams and must have good project management and reporting skills. You should be able to continually seek new product sales opportunities and hold effective sales techniques. 

Preferably you will have a Chemical Engineering / Chemistry degree or similar and MUST have Account Management or sales experience with chemicals in pharmaceutical, veterinary, healthcare and industrial markets.
