By 2050, over 35% of boys and 20% of girls aged 6-10 are expected to be obese. The main culprit? Sugar. My client has been a major force in the war on this sweet poison for a long time now, years before George Osborne announced his tax levy and people actually started looking at the nutritional information on the back of their plastic bottles.

 

In fact, their products are all about intelligent nutrition - consuming the right stuff to help you lead a more energetic, healthy, and fulfilling lifestyle. If this wasn't enticing enough, they've been named Britain's Coolest Brand two years in a row by Cool brands, won the Great Taste Awards, and Best New Brand from the World Beverage Innovation Awards, all in the space of 3 years!

 

In this role, you will be responsible for managing some top class accounts in the health and prestige channel (Wholefoods, Planet Organic, Harvey Nics, Selfridges…). You will be reporting directly in to the Head of Sales - someone who is able to provide first class training and support - and will get the chance to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team.

 

To be successful in this role, they don't need you to be a vegan hippy living off-grid in in an eco-village built from mud and happy thoughts. You will, however, have a passion for nutrition and wellness, as this is the cornerstone of their business (and you probably wouldn't fit in that well if you didn't). You will be tenacious, driven, and autonomous enough to assume immediate responsibility for some important accounts. Ideally, you will have at least 2 years’ sales/account management experience (Planet Organic/Wholefoods highly desirable) and will pack some serious hustle. You will be a first-class communicator, a shrewd negotiator, and an all-round decent human being.
