We are currently looking for a Business Manager - Asda to work with our Commercial team based in our head office in Leeds. In this role you will be responsible for Cream, Flavoured Milk, Cottage Cheese and Food to Go/Cafe.

Responsibility

This role will include developing, implementing and reviewing joint business plans in order to achieve budgeted volumes, margin and debt targets. This will include terms and account investment plans, targeting distribution gains delivering new product opportunities and maximising ROI from promotional spend.

You will encourage and develop strategic partnerships with key Asda contacts and internal Arla stakeholders, throughout Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain and Category functions. Performing timely administration of internal business processes, managing resources effectively whilst seeking out opportunities for cost reduction and personal development , you will play a key part in driving business growth by contributing effectively to category action teams and other cross functional projects.

Asda is Arla's largest customer and this product range is an important mix of brand and own label which has direct P&L and buyer responsibility.

Skills

To be successful in this role you will hold commercially orientated degree (2:1 or above ) along with significant experience of working within a similar FMCG food environment. Being highly numerate, you will have a deep understanding of category management principles whilst being able to demonstrate the use of multiple data streams in order to provide actionable insight. With the ability to manage and develop strategic partnerships, your communication and networking skills will be second to none.
