CATEGORY DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - ACTIVATION AND ONLINE
Up to c. £40k + 25% bonus + attractive benefits package
Location – M4 corridor / West London / M25

A fantastic career development opportunity for an experienced Shopper Activation / Category Exec. or Junior Shopper Marketing / Category Manager looking to progress their career in Shopper Activation & Online within the Category team as part of a market leading, dynamic and inclusive organisation.

The client is a UK Food brand leader operating within FMCG categories with a broad range of heritage consumer brands. The business has a strong reputation for investment in its brands and more importantly its people, with career development opportunities throughout the business.

Your remit will be to lead the category agenda for Online and In-store Activation, to improve the overall shopping experience, provide insight to the business in terms of channel opportunity and be responsible for driving category growth initiatives, including the activation of new product launches and post launch reviews. You will also develop comprehensive category plans for priority customers that deliver sustainable growth.

Of graduate calibre and with a background in FMCG, you will probably already be working in a Junior Shopper Marketing / Category role in a branded FMCG business, or alternatively your experience to date may have been gained in a retail environment. In either case you are now ready to step up to Category Manager level with full responsibility for your own business portfolio – Online and Activation.

This is a hands-on role and will require good analytical, high PC literacy, planning and organisation, presentation and communication skills. You will also need to demonstrate a truly engaging, dynamic personality and real drive.

The job role is office based at the company’s south east head office so candidates must live within a 1 hour commute, ideally close to the M4 corridor.

If you are ready to step up your career and feel that you match the criteria above then please apply below or email your CV and current salary package details to  Maria Murphy at mariam@smithcarey.co.uk  quoting reference number MM/1911.
