The Role: This new business development manager role is selling to the retail and industrial end user marketplace. You will be talking to business owners, directors and category managers in a highly proactive manner, setting up ongoing contracts and retaining your accounts once established.

The Company: This growing and acquisitive firm supplies a range of waste management and recycling services including aggregate recycling, skip hire, dry and hazardous waste removal. They have a strong local reputation for their service levels and are part of a much larger group offering great training and career prospects. Now seeking a new Business Development Manager to be based in the Midlands.

For this Business Development Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Strong field sales skills
  • You must have sold a contractual service such as waste, contract cleaning, manned guarding, hygiene or pest control
  • Candidates with experience of selling waste services may attract the higher salary
  • New business driven candidates with plenty of confidence are sought
