A quality driven, passionate and expanding SME food business has a unique opportunity for someone looking to own their role, and drive their business being supported by great people.
The business has heritage, and is the market leader in their niche - having driven a recent food trend to becoming a household favourite. They supply branded & own brand product to large multiples and independent alike.
This role will be responsible for a team of 3 sales people, own the P&L and be responsible for introducing new customers to the business, as well as hands on sales too being out in the field. Two main grocery supermarket customers will need managing, and working with NPD this role will find more opportunities to increase profit.
The client is looking for someone from a buying or foodie sales background who is not afraid to get stuck in and bring in sales & new customers through business development in the field. They must have had experience of either working for or managing Top 8 supermarkets and have the gravitas to or experience in, managing a team.
