Are you an experienced National Account Manager who is able to deliver new business within the food manufacturing / service / wholesale sector? If so we'd like to hear from you.
About the Company
Our client is a dynamic and progressive supplier of food products with a reputation for fantastic quality and great service. An established family owned business they offer a variety of food products and ingredients into the food manufacturing, food service and wholesale markets. They are ambitious and are looking to grow the business and their team further.
About the Role
You will use your contacts and sales skills to build relationships with existing customers to promote growth as well as hunt down new customers and future business. You will be offered the autonomy to get out and do what you enjoy best - selling. Your knowledge of the food sector and potential customers will allow you to knock on the right doors and quickly build on the volume of business that you are managing. You will utilise your drive and hunger to maximise your commission opportunities and take every opportunity for new business.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of one or more of the food manufacturing / food service / wholesale sectors. You will have a proven business development AND account management track record with tangible results that you delivered. You will be driven, hungry and like the company, dynamic and able to work in a fast paced environment. You will be comfortable hunting out and pitching to new businesses as well as ensuring top level account management with existing customers. You will have a real future in the sales/food environment.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you MUST have a proven sales ability with a track record of delivering increased sales volume through account management AND new business through prospecting and pitching to potential businesses. You MUST have experience in the food sector, ideally within manufacturing, food service or wholesale.
Salary and Package
Our client is willing to offer a very competitive basic salary, company car/allowance and an uncapped commission structure. Top salespeople in the business earn in excess of £110k. OTE is expected to be in the region of £70k+.
