Our client is a prestigious FMCG insight consultancy who is looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team. They are based in central London and deliver both bespoke and syndicated shopper research insights to support the growth and development strategies of their clients. Their clients include some of the biggest global brands in the FMCG sector, so they truly have an enviable client portfolio.
They are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their talented team. This role will involve working closely with their digital lead generation manager in order to engage and sell to prospective clients over the phone and via arranged meetings. To be successful in this role you will need to absorb information quickly and understand the market challenges, so as to be comfortable selling their services to prospective clients. A strong track record in sales is essential as they are looking for people who are confident, comfortable and enjoy selling. It will be important that you can establish rapport easily and build strong relationships going forward. Any prior industry knowledge (FMCG, grocery, convenience retail, wholesale) would be a bonus, but not essential.
