BDM Ingredients, Northern UK - B2B & Foodservice
Offering a broad range of food ingredients, including chilled, frozen and ambient ranges, our client has been successful in supplying both the industrial and food service sectors across the UK, including some major blue-chip customers. The company is now looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to further drive new business opportunities in the north of the UK.
You will build relationships with procurement personnel and product development teams in existing customers, recognising opportunities to build sales on top of your existing offering, as well as identifying and approaching new prospective customers to understand their requirements and what solutions you can offer them. You'll work with the technical team to resolve any issues, and play a part in pricing strategy. Your customers will be located across the north of the UK (anywhere north of Nottinghamshire), as well as all over Ireland.
We're looking for someone who wants to make a big impact on a medium-sized business. A track record in gaining new business in the B2B and foodservice channels is a must, and ideally, this experience will have been gained in the food ingredients sector, although closely aligned categories will be considered. You will be based on patch, and be happy to travel and spend nights away when necessary.
