National Account Managers- Convenience & High Street
Our client is a prominent drinks business supplying family favourite brands to both the off-trade and on-trade. This business is renowned for its tremendous development opportunities and exciting working environment. This company owns several iconic brands and offers exciting potential and diversity together with real progression possibilities. Due to internal progression we require 2 National Account Managers to develop and maximise opportunities in either the High Street sector (e.g. Boots, Superdrug, Booths, WH Smith) or Convenience (Spar, McColls, AF Blakemore)
Based in England, successful candidates would demonstrate strong exposure to leading FMCG/drinks brands and will ideally be a NAM or NAE currently working in the Off Trade. You will currently negotiate directly with buying teams, control the P+L, develop strong relationships and provide a strong understanding of account management and sales development.
Your personal skills will include tenacity, energy and entrepreneurialism together with a broad commercial understanding of FMCG practices. Ideally educated to degree level, candidates will also demonstrate good leadership skills and a high level of gravitas for this position. The successful individual will have high levels of drive for success and a true ‘spark’ to achieve exceptional results. In addition a passion/exposure to people management is an advantage.

Critical Criteria points:
- Background exposure to working with leading Drinks & FMCG brands.
- A dynamic and capable approach with scope for rapid future progression with a true ability to administer change and introduce new ideas.
- Extensive exposure to sales, account management in either branded Drinks, Food or Premium Brands.
- Good knowledge of the Off Trade, ideally in the High Street or Convenience channels
- Demonstrable evidence of strong negotiation, commercial and planning skills.
