Business Development Manager, West Midlands. Competitive base salary + car + commission
Your new company
One of the UK's leading manufacturers within the automotive vehicle seat industry. This successful business work very closely with their customer base to provide the best in technology, product and services to a wide range of passenger vehicle manufacturers.
Your new role
The role of the Business Development manager will be to develop and expand the existing client base throughout the UK. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, who is experienced in presenting product specifications and articulating the features and benefits of a technical product. A basic understanding of the automotive industry could prove beneficial within this role. You will be responsible for arranging business meetings with both existing clients; to expand and improve business relationships, and with prospective clients; to introduce them to the business, their products and the benefits of working with a specialised manufacturer. As an experienced Business Development professional, you will be identifying new business opportunities within the current market place, and potential new ventures outside of this. In addition to this you will be responsible for organising and expanding the current client database system, and inputting a schedule to ensure all accounts are fully serviced and maintained. The successful candidate will be required to attend industry specific trade exhibitions, and keep updated on relevant industry information. You will work very closely with the in house marketing team, and have support from the administration team.
What you'll need to succeed
A minimum of 3 years within a Business Development Manager role. The skills and ability to draw up business tenders, present on a technical product base and the confidence to articulate and present to all levels. The role will be mainly Field based, so a full UK driving license is essential to be considered for the role.
