My client are an innovative consumer products company and their vision is to have their product in every home in UK. The business is an exciting place to work with great benefits and has recently moved into a fantastic new premises London.
With current sales of circa £70 million, the business have an ambitious 3-year growth strategy to double the size of the business. This a great opportunity to be part of this journey.
The company have a £12m annual media spend on advertising, mainly through 30 second TV spots. The other major areas of distribution in the UK are ecommerce and TV home shopping. The rapidly expanding International team currently sell products to partners in over 70 countries around the world and growing this side of the business is key to our overall growth strategy. The key product categories include housewares, cookware, health & beauty, car care, pet care and gifts.
Due to growth, the company are in a position to add a National Account Manager to their growing team. There is an existing customer portfolio that includes ASDA, Wilkinsons, Dunelm, Boots and Debenhams. However there are numerous retailers that the company are targeting to open accounts with and also add new categories into existing accounts.
Reporting to the Retail Sales Director you will have full profit and loss responsibility, setting and delivering the strategic business plan for your account portfolio. This includes forecasting, promotional planning, evaluation and developing a close relationship with the Field Sales Team.
You will have hands on retail sales experience of the major UK multiples including ASDA. You will need to demonstrate the ability to analyse trends, identify opportunities as well as developing Joint Business Plans in partnership with our retailers.
Your remit also involves gaining new business, identifying opportunities, negotiating and closing deals and it is important you are confident in influencing and persuading senior buyers.
