National Account Manager - Branded & Private Label Ambient
The business we are representing is a fast-paced, innovative food business that operate across ambient categories and are viewed as a market leader. Our client is a UK manufacturer and can offer both branded and private-label products to their customer base. They are strongly associated with product quality and can boast strong positioning in grocery retail and all other major customer channels. They are enjoying a period of sustained growth and as a result are looking to add a National Account Manager to their commercial team.
As National Account Manager, you will report directly into the Sales Manager. This person will have full P&L responsibility for a portfolio of established, existing accounts, likely to include at least one major grocery account and/or discounters depending on experience. The role offers the chance to become an integral part of a growing area of the business. You will work with a well-known health based branded product with lots of potential. This person will also target new business opportunities in current accounts and with new customers. You will work closely with other areas of the senior management, NPD and technical teams.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate previous experience of managing National Accounts in an FMCG environment, ideally with at least one grocery retailer. You may currently be a National Account Executive or Junior National Account Manager and looking to progress with a forward-thinking business into your next role. It would be beneficial if this person has operated in a branded and private label manufacturing environment. You must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and a team player.
