NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Our client is a highly regarded and successful independent Brewer now looking for an experienced National Account Manager to manage and develop a portfolio of national leased and other brewer accounts. 

Key requirements:

  • Deliver the annual sales plan through the creation of individual customer business plans
  • Manage the national sales approach to tele-marketing internally through the company’s customer services and also via an external provider.
  • Develop channel strategy that will deliver growth and profitability with brewers where reciprocal trading is a key element of the business.
  • Monitor and measure sales and profit plans against targets and proactively address any shortfalls
  • Negotiate pricing and distribution terms
  • Provide monthly sales briefs to sales personnel to grow brand distribution and sales

Candidate criteria:

  • Experience of operating in a fast paced environment within the spirits sector.
  • Be of graduate calibre
  • Analytical and numerate with an excellent understanding of the market place
  • Strong commercial awareness and business understanding 
  • Be a confident and good communicator with the ability to make excellent presentations
  • Have outstanding negotiating, influencing and selling skills
  • Able to work in a fast paced high-achieving team environment
  • Languages and an international outlook would obviously be necessary
