The Company: Our client is one of the largest family owned manufacturers of quality seafood products in Europe. This company is a highly innovative, private label manufacturer who specialise in frozen and chilled seafood products. Established in 1947, they supply outstanding products at every price point to leading retail and food service customers within the UK, Europe, Canada and Australia.

The Role: As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships with existing accounts and also securing contracts with new customers in the retail and foodservice sector. You will be negotiating with buyers, sector managers and procurement in companies ranging from SME's to large corporations. The well-known brand you will be selling is rapidly changing and developing so you will have full product training and regular thorough updates on new, innovative products. With a high rate of internal promotions, prospects for progression are vast.

For this Business Development Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • A strong track record B2B sales experience
  • Have a passion for the food industry
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Someone who has a professional approach and positive attitude to their work
