Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Buying, you will be required to manage UK and European supplier relationships to ensure the company purchases the right products for their market. Key responsibilities will include delivery of budgeted margin, seeking out and identification of new suppliers and the negotiation of pricing and stock availability. You will also be required to travel throughout Europe to meet and negotiate with Suppliers
What you'll need to succeed
You will have had previous experience working in a commercial Buying / Purchasing environment. Ideally you will have dealt with pharmaceutical or healthcare products, however we will also consider applicants from other Buying backgrounds. You will be a shrewd negotiator, be well organised and able to prioritise your workload effectively and you will have the ability to work accurately under pressure. You will have strong communication skills and be able to build good rapport with others quickly and effectively.
