An exciting and international team responsible for the ongoing maintenance and development of a key global Financial Services client relationship, both in terms of managing existing global and local relationships, client stakeholders, and research studies, as well as growing the global partnership for the future.

This Senior Research Executive role has been created to work within the Global Client team based in the UK to ensure the day-to-day management of a high profile global mystery shopping programme, alongside a supporting team based in Hong Kong. Working closely with the Global Client Business Partner and other team members around the world, you will provide direct support to the global and local clients.

As the Senior Research Executive, you will have the opportunity to engage with a world class financial services brand across all levels of their organisation, with opportunities for swift development and senior-level client exposure in the future.

Key accountabilities for our roles include:

To work closely with the Global Client Business Partner to maintain and develop the client partnership, specifically:
  • Day-to-day ownership of, and responsibility for, the management of the global programme, with close support from the Global Client Business Partner and international multi-country programme management teams
  • To act as a key point of contact for senior Local client stakeholders (Local Heads of Marketing, and Local Heads of Insights)
  • To act as key liaison with fieldwork providers in different markets
  • To act as a key point of contact for Nielsen local markets engaging in delivery of the research
  • To work with the Regional and Global Client Business Partners to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of strategic insights, reports and presentations to Global client stakeholders
  • To work with Regional and Global Client Business Partners to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of insights, reports and presentations to Local client markets
  • To drive relationship value growth through strong client relationship development and delivery of high quality insights and reports to Global and Local Markets
  • Involvement in proposal writing will be required
  • Opportunity to take on greater responsibility within the team during the first 6 months of tenure
  • Opportunity to gain exposure to wider business development initiatives outside of primary client responsibilities


To succeed in this role you will ideally have:-
  • International/Global custom research experience, ideally including Mystery Shopping
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Strong client and programme management skills
  • Experience of Financial Services Research
