Having recently gone through positive structural changes they are backed by substantial capital and are currently in a fantastic position to grow further in the market. Priding themselves on their family values, they develop, manufacture and supply all brands in-house and retailing across a variety of sectors from pharmacy, grocery and the public sector.
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the management and tenders across hospitals within the UK. In addition the position will head up the customer service team, as well as being responsible for general forecasting and admin. Working in a small team you will be targeted on growing the hospital sector within the company. Additional responsibilities include:
- Proactively identify all hospital opportunities and create tender submissions for all NHS Hospital contracts bids.
- Build full knowledge of the changing demands of the NHS and its tender process in order to make bids fully competitive.
- Lead the development and Sales execution of all own label lines.
- Work with Customer Services Assistant manager and line manager to step change day to day operation of the Customer service team.
- Lead the development and execution of a new approach/process to proactively managing inventory within key customers.
The successful candidate will have a strong sales network within hospitals and the NHS, as well as a background managing or mentoring a team. Experience working within the health industry is favourable, as well as a personable and confident personality with the ability to communicate effectively to a wide variety of people. The ability to work analytically and independently will assist you with your success in this position.
