Your new company

A leading UK convenience retailer who prides itself on staying true to their roots whilst designing the best quality stores for customers and delivering fantastic customer service. With a state of the art head office based in the North West of England, this business is now expanding and is looking for a new store planner to join a small but expert team.

Your new role

You'll be working alongside a brilliant team of design and floor planning experts covering stores from the M62 up to the boarders of Scotland. Together, using AutoCAD software you will design the layout of new and refitted stores. You will have the aim to increase sales by maximising display and you'll help advise in terms of refits and sales potential in stores. The accountability for procurement and finances for each project will sit with yourself and you will work with suppliers to help you achieve this.

What you'll need to succeed

With your analytical mind you'll have experience of using package software for floor layouts such as AutoCAD. You'll present new store layouts to the management team and have had experience in a retail background. Your ability to communicate and build relationships coupled with your spatial and site awareness will help you succeed in this role.
