Craft Bakery | Contract Catering | Home Based
Paul Nyman Consultancy are working with an FMCG bakery business to recruit a Business Manager to manage accounts across the Foodservice spectrum, with a focus on Contract Caterers.
The Business
Our client operates across a range of categories but with a key focus on craft bakery. This opportunity offers a Business Manager the chance to join a business with a customer focused mentality when it comes to its developing its relationships. Recent strong performances has left them well placed to capitalise on new growth opportunities, starting with this role.
The Role
The Business Manager role will be focused on managing and developing national accounts across Foodservice/Contract Catering channel. Whilst there is a strong existing account there is a general focus within the business to expand the national customer base within the channel, as such there will be an element of new business with the role. Whilst the role is classified as Home Based the role will require someone based in the South East.
The Person
- You will have a working understanding of one or more elements of the Foodservice channel
- Bakery experience would be a "Nice to have"
- Management of a budget/P&L within your customer base would be beneficial, however you may be an Account Executive looking to step up into the role also
- As the role will require a mix of account management and new business/tendering, you will need to possess a “can do” mentality and the ability to “hunt” as well as “farm”
- Your CV will need to highlight a background of development within you previous employment and you will need to maintain a progressive outlook for the next stage of your career as their is scope for this role to be a Controller role further down the line
- Blue chip training within your career is a requirement
- You will need to be based in the South East of England (Ideally London/surrounding counties)
