Commercial New Business Development Representative needed to join a luxury furniture manufacturer

Expanding sales team

The Company:

An award winning British company that designs and manufactures furniture, upholstery and lighting.   They supply some of the top international decorators, architects, hotels, restaurants and high profile customers all over the world.

You will be working closely with the Commercial Sales Manager, responsible for securing new business with commercial interior design firms throughout the UK and US as well as Europe and the Middle East. As the New Business Development Manager, your role will mainly be client facing, meeting with interior designers and purchasing agents focusing on hotels, restaurants, private clubs, wellness centres and retail spaces. 

You will be expected to travel to the US and central Europe a few times a years to build rapport with clients and develop a better understanding of the market and competitors.

The Candidate:

Proven success with opening new business opportunities in the commercial sector.

Extremely well presented and knowledgeable.

Luxury furniture sales experience or experience in the commercial interior design market.

An entrepreneurial mind-set with superb administrative and time management skills.

Excellent attention to detail

French, Spanish, German or other European languages would be an advantage.
