Team/department purpose

The retail and consumer insight team form part of AHDB’s Market Intelligence Department.

Role responsibilities

Intelligence on consumer behaviour and purchasing decisions is of critical importance to agriculture and the wider food supply chain.  As part of the Market Intelligence Department, you will play a key role in providing high-level consumer and retail insights for levy payers, individual sector departments and the organisation as a whole.

Working as part of a small team and with external research agencies the Senior Retail Insight Analyst is responsible for conducting and managing studies producing reports, presentations and other outputs relating to consumer and retail trends including in Foodservice.

You will have experience in a similar role. While knowledge about agriculture or the food industry would be desirable, it is not essential.
