Data Administrator-FMCG food supplier



My client is looking for a bright, articulate and hard working colleague to join their team. This role will be responsible for the sites KPI reports, productivity trends, and analysing data to support Management decision making. This will range from one page daily reports to the creation of complete service and cost packs to support the effective communication of information across all levels of colleagues from the warehouse to the Directors.

A sound knowledge of spreadsheets and databases will be required in which to record, analyse and interpret KPI data, productivity trends and operational activity planners. As well as the ability to create eye catching, effective, written communications,  graphs and presentations

Duties will include:

  • Creation of data collection routines to collate business information for the production and communication of business stats, KPI’s, reports, spreadsheets and presentations to daily, weekly monthly and ad-hoc time lines.
  • Production of rota’s, training, capacity plans etc. to clear deadlines to give transparency of the resources, capacities and volumes for the site.
  • Work closely with various Managers to interpret and understand data, challenge anomalies and provide relevant, accurate, concise data with appropriate interpretation.
  • Analytically evaluate data trends to identify areas of high and low performance and produce accurate future forecasting.
  • Liaise with Payroll, HR, Finance and Managers to ensure consistency and accuracy of data across the site.
  • Work with the General Manager to produce Weekly and Period Reporting Packs and other presentations as required

Essential Skills Required:

  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of Excel, Access & Powerpoint
  • Strong level of numeracy with a high attention to detail
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to turn data into actions
  • Ability to communicate at different levels, both internally and externally
  • Ability to prioritise a varied workload and work on your own initiative whilst delivering to tight time lines
