Catman Jobs are currently supporting Enterprise Foods in recruiting a Category Executive Implant into a Top 5 retailer. 

The Business

Established in 1995 Enterprise Foods is a distributor of local produce from around the UK. The business has grown substantially since it formed and now has a turnover of over £60 million. They're involved in multiple categories including bakery, dairy, ambient and hot food to go amongst others. Through their mission to supply the UK with local produce they've struck up a number of relationships across retail and Foodservice but specifically with the Co-op retailer, who have embraced local produce in store. 

The Role

The business has ambitious growth targets and to guarantee further success they are looking for a Category Executive to assist the Category team on their biggest account, the Co-op. The Category Executive will work as an implant, based inside the retailer, and alongside the Category Development Manager to help maintain and build the relationship with the account but also provide Category support and understanding on current trends, opportunities and insights.  

The Individual

Previous experience within a Category role or other relevant position, with exposure to data tools would be ideal however, being able to adapt and the capacity to learn quickly are more important. Working under pressure and delivering exceptional insights into the category will be paramount.
