INTERIM HEAD OF SALES – HEALTH FOOD - 5 MONTH CONTRACT
Interim Head of Sales – Health Food - 5 month contract
Office based – London
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest growing health food companies. They have achieved unprecedented success since their launch in the UK two years ago, and since they are owned by an incredibly successful, international food business they boast strong financial back up and a stable culture. Due to their on trend, high quality product range they are enjoying 200% YOY growth and are set to take the UK health foods market by storm over the next few years. Offering candidates an entrepreneurial culture they have the ability to make decisions quickly and are currently in the process of making a new acquisition to further develop their product offering. Since launching in the UK they are now in a position to recruit a high calibre Head of Sales to join them on their exiting journey.
As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for leading the sales team to deliver profitable growth. You will have overall accountability of the UK P&L which currently stands at c. £10M. You will manage all key supplier relationships with the aim of decreasing costs without compromising on quality. The role will also see you managing a small but dynamic sales team and you will be tasked with motivating and inspiring them to deliver against their own personal and company goals.
In order to be considered for this exciting opportunity it is essential that you have an in-depth understanding within an FMCG Food or Drink environment and have managed the UK major multiples directly. Though the ideal candidate will have knowledge of the food industry, this is not a prerequisite for the role. It is important that you are highly commercial with fantastic attention to detail and can demonstrate the ability to manage complex projects in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Experience managing teams is also critical to this position.
