As Business Development Executive reporting to our Head of Sales Europe, you’ll primarily focus on generating revenue and profit from the acquisition of new accounts in our guest supply portfolio, within the luxury sector in the independent channel.  Field-based within your assigned territory, you’ll generate revenue to meet the sales target determined for your territory.  In addition to developing a territory plan and strategy that identifies the customers and products needed to deliver against sales targets, other key accountabilities as Business Development Executive include:

  • building strong relationships across a range of organisational levels and functions
  • developing more complex product solutions, including stock, custom, and retail brand partnerships to meet the customer needs
  • using our CRM system to document sales activities promptly and accurately.

Ideally educated to degree level, you have a proven sales track record, incorporating experience new business development/account acquisition including both internal and external sales.  Preferably but not essentially with some experience of consumer, beauty, health and wellness, or hotel amenities, you’re familiar with travel and tradeshow representation.  Strong on strategic and diligent prospecting, along with disciplined planning, you have excellent relationship-building and closing skills and a highly professional telephone presence.  Together with your ability to understand and retain information on your product portfolio, you can also offer:

  • the ability to make decisions with little supervision
  • strong IT-proficiency, especially with MS Office
  • excellent organisational and time management skills
  • the ability to work under pressure and balance multiple tasks.
