We have an opportunity for a self-motivated, proactive sales person to join us as a Pharmacy Development Manager to cover the South Wales region.

In this role you will work with members to help them drive their profitability through a broad range of commercials schemes; whilst also helping them deliver great patient care to their local communities, through a very comprehensive range of pharmacy services. We are seeking a results driven individual with strong commercial acumen and a passion for community pharmacy. The role provides an ideal opportunity to develop your career within the pharmacy sector through Numark and the wider Phoenix group.

Covering South Wales this varied role primarily involves supporting our member pharmacies and associated stakeholders to develop their pharmacy businesses by utilising the tools available, creating patient loyalty and enhancing the customer experience. Another aspect to the role is identifying, prospecting and attracting new members.

A key element to this success will be through understanding the pharmacy environment, our members’ priorities and the effective communication of our products and services.

It is essential you have previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry as this role involves communicating with all levels within the pharmacy environment, (pharmacists to counter assistants) as well as internal stakeholders. As such the Pharmacy Development Manager must be a confident communicator, both verbally and written, and possess excellent organisational and planning skills. The successful candidate must also be able to demonstrate an ability to adapt to the ever changing pharmacy environment.

You must be flexible in your approach as this role will require you to travel to the member's’ premises throughout the territories and could involve some overnight stays. A full driving licence is essential.

The ideal candidate will be based in Cardiff / Newport / M4 Corridor.

You are encouraged to apply as soon as possible for this vacancy as it may close earlier than specified should excessive applications be received.
