Category Manager - Grocery & Impulse (leading FMCG confectionary brand)
Our client is a market leading confectionary food brand and has achieved consistent growth through focused new product development initiatives and some unforgettable marketing campaigns. As a major player within their category and key innovators they see category management at the forefront of their commercial growth. As they continue to expand their category team, they are seeking a high calibre Category Manager who is capable of taking their business to the next level.
Key responsibilities will include supporting the development of category partnerships with Waitrose and the impulse channel (Spar, Costcutter, among others) to drive their confectionary offering through category management tools - specifically market data analysis and insight, research analysis and insights, and ranging and merchandising.
The successful candidate will either be a Category Manager within the FMCG sector or a high flying Category Executive ready to make the step up. You will have experience of working with a top 4 UK grocery retailer or the impulse channel and possess excellent presentation skills as well as experience of analysing and interpreting agency data. Being a team player and having strong interpersonal and leadership skills will also be key attributes to make you successful within this role.
