Purpose of the Role:
To be responsible for the achievement of the area sales target, development of key accounts and the opening of new business within the territory.
- to maintain relationships with the existing key accounts and grow each account's spend
- to open new accounts and ensure that they are spending
- to provide customer quotations, merchandising support at customer level (as required) and manage low value customer returns
- to promote the company and brand at all times
- to understand and deliver against the company vision, mission and cultural values
Requirements for the Role:
- results driven, conscientious and with a desire to win
- proven successful sales track record
- proven experience within a similar role, ideally from within the B2B sector
- full clean driving licence, held for a minimum of 5 years
- basic IT skills, a working knowledge of Excel, and and understanding of web ordering, smart phones and technology
- able to work as a team with the internal sales department
